Priests of Balthazar: How Do They Work? - Guild Wars Forums

As per the title, I would like to know how the Priests manage their "stock" of runes and skills. From my observations, the skills offered at the Priest correspond with the skills available at the skill trainer. However, I am unsure as to how Elite skills are offered.

The first time I went to a Priest with the intent of unlocking an Elite, he had all Elites of all clases stocked. However, the last couple times I checked, they have simply offered non-elites that correspond with the city. Do they offer Elites on a weekly basis? Is it random?

My biggest question is how they manage runes. All the times I've visited the Priest, they've only had the unpopular runes in stock. Do they stock runes at a certain time? Does runes players sell to traders have anything to do with it?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Priests only the stuff you need unlocked for PvP. They don't have "stock" as far as anyone is concerned. For runes, they're displaying the lowest level of rune you have yet to unlock. For Elites, only certain Priests offer them, I think; if there's more than one Priest, one may offer Elites, the other won't. You don't get anything PvE-wise from Priests, they're just for unlocking PvP stuff.

Only priest with elites is in droknar's forge, one out of the two there. The skills they offer differ from every city i.e. a priest in LA has different skills than a priest in Ascalon city. All priests offer they exact same set of runes and weapon mods.
